Heartlands Synopsis - Heartlands centres around Colin, a somewhat meek young man, whose only interest is playing darts for his local pub team. Colin works in his wife Sandra's small convenience store. Although his life seems devoid of excitement Colin seems content even though his wife shows him little interest. Colin's life gets turned upside down when he discovers that the brash captain of his darts team, Geoff, has been having an affair with Sandra. Colin is distraught but Sandra chooses to leave with Geoff in order to go to the Darts Championship in Blackpool and leaving Colin behind at home. Colin decides to make his own way to Blackpool in an effort to win her back and sets off on his moped, will he make it there and can he win his wife back? |
