A pair of siblings and three friends head down to Texas. Running low on fuel two of the group enquire at a nearby house. When they don't return the others go over to the house to see what the delay is and come face to face with their worst nightmares.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is one of the most notorious films in cinematic history - being banned from release in Britain (and many other countries) for many years. The film is by no standards an out and out gore fest, but relies on the terror being believable and the violence being down right nasty. An extraordinary piece of powerful low budget cinema.
