Set in a block of council flats during the summer of 1973 and seen through the eyes of a 12 year old boy, Lynne Ramsay's stunning debut feature is to my mind one of the best films made in the last ten years.

This stylish, imaginative, deep, dark, tender film really helps to underline the talent working in the Scottish film industry at the moment. Sadly the film is relatively little known but this is one film I would recommend you checking out as I can guarantee that you wont be disappointed.
