It's a Wonderful Life
The year release of one of the all time great Christmas movies (check out our guide to films guaranteed to make you feel Christmassy), this time in a collectors edition release. This film runs the line beautifully between saccharine and substance and comfortably ends up on the right side.

|
1. The Ipcress File
One of Michael Cain's finest performances as Len Leighton's working class James Bond - Harry Palmer. No coincidence that it was
produced by Harry Saltpan (producer of the early Bond movies) and score by Bond composer John Barry.
|
2. Harry Potter Year 1-5 Box Set
Being one of the most visually impressive series of films, the Harry Potter series is ideally suited to the Blu-ray format. Collected here are the first five films in the series.
|
3. The Mist

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Despite some decidedly lukewarm reviews of the movie, we actually liked it in it's uncomplicatedness and for sheer visceral fun its hard to beat.
|
Black Christmas
Festive horror comes to Blu-ray. This is the original 1974 version of the stalk n slash classic that was remade in with such success in 2006. Merry Christmas!

1. Band Of Brothers (Blu-ray)
This 10 part series was little short of amazing, especially visually, so it seems fitting that it receives a prompt release on Blu-ray. At times the plot seems a trifle jingoistic and overly sentimentalised, but a great story beautifully made.
|
2. Family Guy - Series 7
All the episodes from series 7 of the one show that gets better and better with each series. Worth buying for the extras even if you taped all the episodes originally when they were shown on BBC3.
|
3. Red Dwarf: Anniversary collection - All the Shows.
To mark the 20th anniversary all the show from the 8 series are collected here. Series 1-5 are impeccable, series 6-7 are dreadful and series 8 is a return to form (unfortunately too late though).

|
Gavin And Stacey - Series 1-2
A fantastic series with some truly hilarious. Our personal favourite is the line dancing duet to Islands In The Stream.
|
Torchwood - Series 1-2
All the episodes from this rather good Doctor Who spin -off. Hopefully there will be a lot less Captain Jack in the next series and more of everybody / anybody else.
|
Take a Girl Like You
Andrew Davies superb adaptation of Kingsley Amis's poignant comic novel. A stunning cast including
Rupert Graves, Hugh Bonneville, Robert Daws and Emma Chambers.
|
Doctor on the Box
It seems strange that this dated run of series was once at the top of the ratings, and also had writers such as. Jonathan Lynn, Graham Chapman, Bill Oddie and Graeme Garden. The entire series - good and bad - is captured here in this 20 disc edition.
|
Supernatural - Complete Third Season [Blu-ray]
The complete third season of this US drama series 700minutes of action on 3 Blu-ray discs.
|
Family Guy - Series 1-7 - Complete
Complete your Complete Collection with series 1 -7 Complete Collection, to go with the series 1-6 Complete Collection you bought last year, and the series 1-5 Complete Collection the previous year... Damn You!
